Why repair

Most restaurant owners don't know a grease trap can be repaired

When an inspector fails a grease trap, the usual assumption is that it has to come out. Replacing a trap is expensive, and it usually means closing the kitchen while the old one is dug out and a new one goes in.

There’s another option. We repair the damage itself: the holes, the cracks, the corrosion and the broken baffle walls. We clean and degrease the trap, rebuild what’s broken, then coat the whole trap. It’s done overnight, while your restaurant is closed.

"Their reliable, on-time service keeps our kitchen running without any surprises. highly recommend to any Houston restaurant."

Questions about grease trap repair

Can a grease trap be repaired instead of replaced?

Usually, yes. Holes, cracks, corrosion and broken baffle walls can all be repaired. A repair typically costs under half as much as a new trap, and it’s done overnight so you don’t have to close.

No. We work overnight, after your kitchen closes, and the trap is ready the next morning.

It can. The baffles are the walls inside the trap that hold grease back. When they break, grease can flow straight through toward the sewer, and Houston’s rules say no grease should be visible in the trap’s sample well.

How much does a grease trap repair cost?

That depends on the size of the trap and the amount of damage, so we don’t publish prices. A free on-site inspection sets the price. As a guide, a repair typically costs under half the price of replacing the trap.

Labor and materials, as long as the trap gets regular pump-outs. In Houston that means the city’s own schedule: a full pump-out at least every 90 days. The damage comes from grease left sitting in the trap, so those pump-outs protect the repair too.

No. Pump-outs are done by a pumping company registered with the state. In Houston, the truck must show current registration decals (§ 47-511). We repair, install and deep clean grease traps, and jet sewer lines.
